My NOTD, Sephora by OPI’s Metro Chic, is a very un-summery color however as you all know I am pretty random with my nail polish. One day I can be wearing the hottest, brightest, and loudest neon only to have on the deepest black the next day. I cannot get enough of this classic purple gray polish. What you’re seeing is two very thin coats however two slightly thicker coats would make the polish more true to bottle color. As a neutral, it goes with pretty much everything and is a step above your average neutral shade. I like it so much that after I bought it, I was worried about running out so I got Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure’s Commander in Chic as a dupe to make Metro Chic last for as long as possible. Other than tan/beige, this is my favorite neutral. Although I don’t always abide by seasonal trends (hello I’m writing a post about wearing a neutral nail color in the summertime), I cannot wait until Autumn rolls around because traditional Autumn nail polish colors are the only good thing about Fall other than Halloween, Thanksgiving, and low humidity.
