Find Me An Oasis from the Essie Resort Spring 2014 Collection is simply described as a refreshing ice blue. It’s very very pale to the point of appearing white with just a dash of blue. The perfect baby/ light blue for Spring. As I look out the window, it’s the end of March, 60 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze. Yeah, I think it’s safe to say that Spring is here to stay and I couldn’t be happier. No more of this snow nonsense on the East Coast!

Essie Find Me An Oasis – Spring Resort 2014 Collection

I was able to get to bottle color with two coats however I used three because I wasn’t very satisfied with how the polish looked after only two coats. The formula is very tacky and thick which means you’ve got to get as little polish on the brush as possible and apply it in very even, short strokes. Not the easiest to work with and tends to be streaky in nature but the color is actually worth it. I like the softness of the shade and that it’s office friendly. By now y’all have probably noticed I don’t wear polishes that are too loud or out there, I only make an exception when it comes to Fridays but Mondays through Thursdays I like to keep it neat.

Find Me An Oasis really reminds me of Mint Candy Apple, both in color and application except Mint Candy Apple is more pale green whereas Find Me An Oasis is pale blue. Both however have a very goopy consistency which makes the polish a pain to apply however when you look at your nails when you’re finished you’re like “ahhh totally worth it!” Thanks to those who participated in the giveaway, the winner will be announced tomorrow 🙂
